Datapipe Achieves AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency Status

Competency reaffirms Datapipe’s deep domain expertise in enabling customers to achieve Microsoft workload migration and management goals on AWS

Jersey City, NJ – August 1, 2017 – Datapipe, a leader in managed cloud services for the enterprise, today announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Workloads Competency status within the AWS Partner Network (APN). This competency represents Datapipe’s extensive domain expertise in the design, migration, deployment, and management of Microsoft-based applications on AWS, specifically with workloads based on Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange Server.

The AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency has been updated to more easily connect AWS customers with skilled AWS APN partners that match their Windows workload migration goals. The competency now combines SharePoint and Exchange competencies under a new Productivity Solutions category, while SQL Server is represented within the category Database Solutions. This competency applies a stringent validation process to ensure expert delivery by qualified APN consulting partners.

“Datapipe is proud to be one of the first APN partners to achieve the AWS Microsoft Workloads competency for both Productivity Solutions and Database Solutions” said David Lucky, Director of Product Management, Datapipe. “This speaks to our team’s deep expertise in deploying mission-critical Microsoft applications and workloads on AWS, and to our long history providing these capabilities to our many clients in helping them harness the full potential of AWS.”

The AWS Competency Program is designed to provide customers with qualified APN members, like Datapipe, who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in specialized solution and vertical areas.  Datapipe also achieved AWS Competency status in several other areas, including Storage, Migration and Oracle. Each of these AWS recognitions are achieved only after meeting detailed program requirements, customer references, customer support review, and completion of in-depth AWS training and certification programs.

Datapipe is also a member of the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program, AWS Service Delivery Program, and AWS Public Sector Partner Program.  Datapipe has been a Premier Consulting Partner in the APN since February 2013 and maintains data center locations in all six AWS regions.
