Datapipe Named as Equinix’s first Platinum Level Channel Partner
Partnership reaffirms companies' commitment to building industry leading hybrid IT environments for enterprises
Jersey City, NJ – April 2, 2015 — Datapipe, a global leader in managed hybrid IT solutions for the enterprise, today announced it has been named the first Platinum Partner in Equinix’s newly launched global Channel Partner Program. The program and Datapipe’s status as a Platinum Partner expands upon Datapipe’s collaboration with Equinix to provide managed hybrid IT solutions that give enterprise customers increased security, choice and control for architecting, building, migrating and managing enterprise applications and workloads in public clouds across the globe.
“Datapipe and Equinix are longtime partners. We both know hybrid cloud environments, and we have been working together to deliver global, multi-platform hybrid IT solutions for the enterprise with direct connections to multiple public, private and hybrid clouds for some time,” said John Landy, CTO, Datapipe. “Our participation in Equinix’s Channel Partner Program as a Platinum Partner is the culmination of these years of collaboration and ensures that when an enterprise engages with us they will get the global breadth and depth of Equinix’s services backed and managed by Datapipe’s hybrid cloud expertise.”
Equinix’s Channel Partner Program leverages Equinix's global footprint, advanced interconnection solutions, and vast business ecosystems to meet customers' IT performance, reliability and cost requirements, while unlocking new revenue streams in an expanding global market. Through the program, enterprise customers will be able to strike a balance between public clouds, private clouds and traditional IT environments—all architected, deployed and fully managed by trusted Equinix channel partners such as Datapipe.
“Many IT organizations don’t have the processes and/or resources in place internally to manage hybrid cloud computing, and therefore look to interconnection and multi-cloud access as a means to bring various silos of computing together to be more competitive,” said Pete Hayes, chief sales officer, Equinix. “We see the Equinix Channel Program and Datapipe as key enablers to help enterprises as they undergo major IT transformations in the interconnected era.”
As the enterprise workforce becomes increasingly dispersed, and companies are faced with the rise of new computing paradigms, such as mobile computing, cloud and big data, Datapipe is constantly looking to advance its offerings to help clients decide which IT and cloud services to use and how to deploy them quickly. Partnerships like this one with Equinix and strategic acquisitions like that of GoGrid, secure Datapipe’s position as an industry leader in architecting, deploying and managing multi-platform hybrid IT solutions.
Datapipe is the only global managed service provider to future proof IT for the enterprise. The company leads the industry in architecting, deploying and managing multi-platform hybrid IT solutions, including public, private and hybrid clouds integrated with traditional IT environments. By automating IT, Datapipe supports the continuous development and delivery of secure, highly available enterprise class applications.
