Datapipe Achieves AWS Managed Service Provider Partner Status

Jersey City, NJ – April 9, 2015 — Datapipe, a global leader in managed hybrid IT solutions for the enterprise, today announced that it has become one of the first AWS Managed Service Partners as part of the new AWS Managed Service Program. The announcement comes shortly after the news that Datapipe will collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) on a Global Center of Excellence.

As an AWS Managed Service Partner, Datapipe has proven that it delivers value to customers by offering proactive monitoring, automation and management of its customers’ AWS environment. In order to achieve the designation, Datapipe met the AWS Managed Service Program requirements, including a third-party audit of their AWS Managed Service capabilities.

“The AWS Managed Service Program is designed for APN Partners who build and maintain robust skills, methodologies and tools based on best practices for managed production enterprise applications on AWS,” said Terry Wise, Vice President of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “By achieving this distinction, Datapipe has demonstrated its ability to consistently deliver value to customers by offering proactive monitoring, automation, and management of their AWS environments.”

“Being a member of the AWS Managed Service Program is truly a win-win for us,” said Daniel Newton, Chief Operating Officer, Datapipe. “As the IT industry evolves, an increasing number of businesses will seek out credible and fully vetted service providers to oversee their cloud infrastructure requirements. By achieving AWS Managed Service Partner status, we offer a greater level of confidence to customers interested in our abilities as a managed service provider for the AWS Cloud.”

Datapipe has exhibited continued customer success on the AWS platform. Being among the first designated AWS Managed Service Partners, Datapipe has demonstrated a keen understanding of AWS in conjunction with the right IT service management capabilities to deliver cloud managed services.

“Working through the MSP validation checklist not only shows that Datapipe delivers industry best practices, but also AWS best practices,” said Newton. “The results and confidence that come with that peace of mind for our users makes the auditing process well worth it.”
