Datapipe Managed Cloud for Amazon Web Services Continues to Provide Resilient Solutions
Jersey City, NJ — May 3, 2011 — Datapipe, a leading provider of managed services and infrastructure for IT and cloud computing, today announced that all Datapipe engineered Managed Cloud solutions deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) were operational through the event that began on April 21st. A large number of companies leverage Amazon Web Services, but not all of them take full advantage of the features that help them sail through a service interruption. Datapipe engineering helps enterprises take advantage of the full power of the cloud.
“Datapipe creates resilient cloud solutions allowing our customers to focus on their core competency,” said Ed Laczynski, Vice President Cloud Strategy for Datapipe. “Every Datapipe solution that was fully engineered by Datapipe Cloud Engineering, approximately 95 percent of Datapipe’s Managed Cloud clients, experienced minimal impact to solution availability as a result of the incident last week.”
Datapipe architects every mission critical IT solution with high-availability and resiliency in mind. Collaborating with clients to eliminate as many single points of failure as possible, Datapipe maintains scalable, self-healing solutions that are distributed across global cloud regions and zones.
Datapipe announced Datapipe Managed Cloud, a complete managed services offering designed for AWS, in November 2010. Datapipe Managed Cloud is an all-inclusive suite of managed services featuring architecture and design, 24x7x365 technician-based monitoring and management, patching and OS maintenance, auto-scaling and self-healing enablement, and change management.
