Datapipe Announces Acquisition of San Jose Data Center


Hoboken, NJ — November 20, 2006 — Datapipe, a global provider of managed hosting and security services, announced today that it has acquired the San Jose Data Center of AboveNet, Inc. “We’re very pleased to acquire this data center in the heart of Silicon Valley,” said Robb Allen, founder and CEO of Datapipe. “This is a truly world class facility and is home to 5 of the 15 most visited websites in the world.” Allen added that Datapipe is adding a significant revenue stream as a result of the acquisition.

Datapipe and AboveNet have developed a comprehensive transition plan for the facility that is designed to ensure that customers experience no interruption in service and have continuity in both operational and administrative processes.
