I recently gave a lightning talk at KubeCon in Seattle. This event, put on by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, aims to provide educational and informative content on cloud native computing, which uses an open source software stack to deploy applications as microservices, packaging each part into its own container, and dynamically orchestrating those containers to optimize resource utilization.

My lightning talk discussed how, why, and when to use a Pet Set, which the Kubernetes community has decided to rename as Stateful Sets when it moves into beta. In case you missed KubeCon, I wanted to share my lightning talk below. Take a look – after all, it’s only five minutes!
