Another “First” with AWS

We have a long history of “firsts” with all of our services, especially with our long-time partner, Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are pleased to announce we are now one of the first companies to receive the new AWS Migration Competency, a new core competency within the AWS Competency Program. Being among the first to be awarded this new competency is a great complement to our deep experience helping businesses move successfully to AWS, through all phases of the migration process including discovery, planning, migration, and operations.

The AWS Competency Program is designed to provide AWS customers with qualified AWS Partner Network (APN) providers who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in specialized solution and vertical areas. The AWS Migration Competency is the fourth AWS Competency we’ve been awarded. We also hold AWS competencies for: Oracle, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Exchange. In addition, we are a member of the AWS Managed Service Program, which provides qualified APN Partners with technical and business benefits to deliver AWS Cloud services as business solutions to AWS Customers. Each of these AWS recognitions is only awarded to APN Partners, like us, who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven client success in specialized solution areas.

One such example of proven client success can be seen in our work with VSCO, an art and technology company that needed to migrate the recently acquired Artifact Uprising application to AWS from a non-native environment. Artifact Uprising trusted Datapipe’s expertise to advise the company on how to leverage AWS properly when planning and executing its migration.
