Appearances in Gartner Magic Quadrant a result of growing demand for database management

A few months ago, we partnered with DataStax, the company that delivers Apache Cassandra™ to the enterprise. Even in that short period of time, we’ve seen how the software has provided organizations with flexible, always-on, secure, managed database solutions to accommodate the toughest of big data workloads.

DataStax was rewarded for putting customers first by being named a Leader in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Operational Database Management Systems. We were also named a leader once again for Cloud Enabled-Managed Hosting, and together, we’ve done some impressive things.

We support NoSQL database deployments for our clients, ensuring that the performance, scalability, security and availability meet enterprise level requirements. We have trained database professionals specializing in AWS and Microsoft Azure deployments. These professionals design, architect and deploy the complete solution stack, all the way from the network to the database layer.

What’s more, our enterprise grade solutions provide fully supported software, including best practice guidance and escalation support, along with service level agreements (SLAs) providing an enterprise the governance and environment stability they expect. The last thing you should have to worry about is an unreliable database, and our managed solutions put those fears to rest. And if you ever do run into a problem, our 24x7x365 responsive support can provide the fast, efficient help you need.

A database managed service that lacks comprehensive backup and security services is barely a managed service at all–our backups, including hot backups, security management, full-system reporting services, and auditing make for a safe and sound database. Businesses have plenty on their plate to manage. Knowing their data is securely protected helps alleviates any other uncertainties.

In Gartner’s 2015 report, it stated “all infrastructure requires management,” which includes management of server OS instances and software at the middleware and persistence layer, such as Web server software, application servers and database servers. According to Gartner, these services have defined the managed hosting market for more than 15 years and will only become more important as the industry continues to grow. Our main goal is to make our customers’ lives easier. We believe hosting your database infrastructure with us will truly do that.

Our partnership with DataStax has continued our mission to partner with best-of-breed organizations to provide strategic, innovative cloud solutions. In addition to DataStax Enterprise Apache Cassandra, we’re proud to offer several other database certifications. You can find a full list here.
