DataPipe Recognized as One of New Jersey's Finest
Hoboken, NJ - September 10, 2004 – DataPipe Managed Hosting Services was recently named to the annual
New Jersey’s Finest Program 2004, sponsored by NJBIZ, Dendrite
International, McCarter & English, PNCBank, PricewaterhouseCoopers
and Prudential Financial.
DataPipe was featured in the September 4th issue of NJBIZ
devoted to 26 of the state’s privately held companies. Judges used a
set list of criteria to make their decisions including challenges
overcome, employment growth, attainment of special goals, revenue
increases and the business’ relationship to the overall economy of New
Jersey.
“Being chosen by NJBiz as one of New Jersey’s fastest
growing private companies is a great honor for us,” said CEO Robb
Allen. “We are the first to admit how astounding the fast-paced growth
of our company has been. The one thing that has remained constant,
however, is the quality of our staff. Their passion and dedication to
our customers and the founding vision of this company are the
cornerstones upon which we base all strategic decisions.”
The decisions Allen refers to include not only internal
organizational growth into several new or expanded departments, but
also a recent venture into the international web hosting market,
elevating the company to operate virtually, and physically, on a global
scale. Fiscally, DataPipe has seen average growth of more than 50% year
over year and has been profitable for more than three years.
Allen went on to state the personal pride he felt in
knowing that DataPipe brings jobs to this state and its contribution to
the US economy in general. With labor statistics and economic forecasts
producing dismal reports in recent years, success stories like those of
DataPipe cast a positive light in otherwise uncertain times. NJBIZ’s
President echoed this sentiment when explaining why DataPipe was chosen
as a finalist.
“Too often we hear of downsizing and cutbacks in today’s
market landscape. We commend DataPipe for overcoming challenges and
securing a spot on the New Jersey’s Finest 2004,” said George Taber,
President of NJBIZ. “The New Jersey’s Finest 2004 recognizes and honors
the fastest growing private companies whose leaders have the vision and
determination to beat the odds and build companies that contribute to
the state of New Jersey.”
An awards dinner will be held at the Pleasantdale Chateau,
West Orange, NJ on September 21, 2004, honoring all winners and
inducting previous winners into the Hall of Fame.
