DataPipe Announces Aggressive First Quarter Growth
Hoboken, NJ - April 14, 2004
– DataPipe, an international provider of Managed Web Hosting Services,
announced today that both sales and revenue for the first quarter grew
more than 50% compared to the first quarter last year.
“The credit for our continued growth belongs to our
employees,” said Robb Allen, CEO of DataPipe. “Their commitment to
delivering the best support and service in the industry has allowed
DataPipe to grow more than 3,200% over the last four years.”
The first quarter also marked the launch of DataPipe’s
updated website with a more user-friendly, streamlined graphical
design. The changes came about as a result of recent research into web
hosting industry trends. This research revealed a marked lack of
standards for managed services and a resulting confusion on the part of
consumers and business customers.
“One of our main focuses has always been on providing our
customers with confidence and reliability in the services we provide,”
continued Allen. “But we also realize the challenge customers face in
sifting through all of the information that is out there. Take, for
example, the subject of managed services. Ask ten hosting companies
about what services they include with ‘managed services’ and you will
likely get ten different answers. What’s resulted is that the meaning
has been lost.”
With the recent introduction of SureManagedSM services,
DataPipe seeks to inform businesses about what they should expect from
a managed hosting service. Easy to understand service descriptions are
provided and businesses that do not want “Fully Managed” services have
the option of choosing specific managed services they require,
providing peace of mind that they are not paying for services they
don’t need.
