DataPipe Adds Digital Security Options to its MSS Solutions
Services now available to establish custom managed security solutions
Hoboken, NJ — January 5, 2005 – DataPipe, a global provider of managed hosting services, announced today a new
addition to its managed security solutions. This announcement greatly expands options available for clients seeking
vulnerability management services. Much of the market offering is limited to either limited functionality open source
platforms or re-selling other packaged managed security services, providing little opportunity for service customization
or attractive margins.
“These new products allow us to greatly expand the depth and breadth of our vulnerability assessment offering,” said Robb
Allen, CEO of DataPipe. “This unique combination of vulnerability assessment and vulnerability prevention on a single platform
offers stellar end-to-end vulnerability management.”
This new program provides on-demand vulnerability assessment, remediation and prevention as a managed security service. By
adopting eEye’s programs, such as retina scanners, host intrusion prevention and vulnerability mitigation, end users can
address regulatory compliance and security policy enforcement issues.
“This program’s creation is the culmination of eEye’s success with our existing channel program”, said Firas Raouf, Chief
Operating Officer of eEye Digital Security. “The managed service program is a reflection of the growing needs of service
providers to deliver a higher end vulnerability management offering backed by eEye’s world-renowned security research and
software.”
eEye is the only vendor that can provide MSPs with an end-to-end vulnerability management platform. This platform includes
the Retina ® product line for vulnerability assessment and remediation automation, and the Blink ® product line for host intrusion
prevention and vulnerability mitigation. The two product lines are augmented by a management console that delivers an enterprise
centric remediation management workflow for facilitating optimal resolution of vulnerabilities.
