Managed Security Services
A common guideline among security professionals is that security cannot simply be tacked on; rather, it must be in the design phase from the beginning. DataPipe has designed its service offerings with your solutions’ security in mind. We utilize a methodology known as Defense in Depth.
Defense in Depth is a practical strategy for achieving the highest possible Information Assurance (IA) with the least
possible sacrifice, commonly known as the balance of risk versus reward. This model entails a multilayered approach in
which each layer is not dependant on the others. Security controls are designed to progressively weaken an attack.
The security community has identified three key categories in which security
concerns are paramount: People, Technology, and Operations.

Operational Security is not a product but is better described as a culture. DataPipe believes in and fosters this culture across all levels of our organization.
Operations are the actions associated with policies and procedures. DataPipe’s minimum facility and network requirement policies go far beyond that of standard hosting providers. Our fully redundant datacenter and network infrastructure allows for peace of mind, even under extreme circumstances.
All of our policies are designed with security in mind. Utilizing SureSEAP we can integrate your policies with ours, allowing for customized responses for any situation. DataPipe can even provide your business with policy templates should your business require them.
DataPipe employs strong access control measures across multiple aspects of operations. Some of these include: security entry cards, biometric hand scanners, thin clients, 2 factor authentication, email encryption of sensitive data, and PIN number verification for account access.
